(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a personal robbery that took place on January 19, 2012.  At about 8:30 am, a lone teenage male was walking in the area of Gatesbury Street and Deerfox Drive when two suspects in a vehicle approached.

The males were both wearing black ski masks. The 14 year old victim was told to get in the car and upon doing so, a demand was made for cash.  As the interaction between the victim and passenger took place, the driver proceeded to drive along neighbouring streets.  The victim was released a short time later.  Nothing was taken and there were no injuries sustained as a result of the robbery.  No weapon was seen.     

The two suspects are described as white, 20-25 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches (180 centimeters) to 6 feet 1 inch (185 centimeters) in height.  The driver was wearing a black hoodie and black jeans. The passenger wore a grey hoodie, black jeans, and white sneakers.  The vehicle was described as being an older model Honda Civic.
