Update on injuries from the OC Transpo collision with pedestrian

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service is sad to inform the public that 87 year old victim has succumbed to her injuries. 

The investigation continues, and no charges have been laid at this time.

Seeking witnesses to serious collision with injuries on Carling Avenue

 (Ottawa)— At 10:00am today, the Ottawa Police Service attended the entrance of  Carlingwood Mall on Carling Avenue following a serious collision involving a pedestrian and an OC Transpo bus. 

The 87 year old female pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Ottawa Paramedic Service.  She remains in hospital.

The 41 year old bus driver did not sustain any injuries, nor did any passengers on board. 

Collision Investigators are looking to speak to witnesses. The investigation continues.
