Reporting Process

Some incidents require an officer to be dispatched to take a report in person, while other reports can be taken by a Call Centre agent over the phone (613-236-1222 ext 7300) or online using our Online Reporting System*.

We do not accept reports by email or social media.

Reports taken through our Online Reporting System include:

  • Theft (Under $5000) 
  • Lost Property (Under $5000) with a known serial number or distinct identifier to report. 
    Read this if you've lost your wallet.
  • Mischief/Damage to Property (Under $5000) 
  • Theft from Vehicle (Under $5000)
  • Traffic Complaints 

*Reports filed through our Online Reporting System are reviewed within 24 hours.
