(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect responsible for a robbery along the 1500 block of Bank Street.

On February 12, 2015 at approximately 6:00 pm, a lone male suspect entered the bank and produced a note making a demand for money. The suspect produced what appeared to be an imitation handgun.  The suspect fled with an undisclosed quantity of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6"0"(183 cm), grey beard/moustache, 50-60 years of age.  He wore a long, dark winter coat, a large green scarf, and carried a Loblaws recyclable bag (see pictures.)
