Richmond Road shooting: police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred on Richmond Road on February 2, 2022.
Shortly after 9 p.m., the Ottawa Police Service was made aware of a man who had presented to hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
It’s believed that the incident occurred along the side of Richmond Road, between McEwen and New Orchard.

(Ottawa) – Today, the Ottawa Police Service charged a 48 year old man from QC with Uttering Threats and Counseling to Commit an Indictable Offense not Committed.
The charge is in relation to threats and comments made on social media, while he was in Ottawa.

(Ottawa) – Today, the Ottawa Police Service arrested and charged Matthew DORKEN, 29 year old, of Ottawa, with Mischief under $5000. On January 29th, a man caused mischief to property. He was not arrested at the time in order to avoid a larger confrontation.
