(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service would like to inform the public that Musse Osman, the 78 year old missing man subject of the initial media release, has been LOCATED safe and sound. The Ottawa Police wish to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

Missing 78 year old man to locate

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service is asking for public assistance to locate missing 78 year old Musse Osman.  He was last seen at 8 am on June 4, 2020 in the area of Daly Avenue and Waller Street in Ottawa. 

Mr. Osman is described as black, 5’7” (170cm), 132 Lbs (60kg), brown eyes, short cropped white/grey hair, balding (see photo).  He is likely wearing a long-sleeve shirt with a jacket and baseball cap. He walks with a limp due to an injured left leg. He speaks very little English or French, his first language being Somali. He frequents the area between the Mission and the Salvation Army.

Anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Musse Osman is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222. 

If you have information that could assist investigators, but do not know where he is currently, please contact the Missing Persons Unit 613-236-1222, ext. 2355, between 8 am and 4 pm, daily.
