(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigations Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying two individuals involved in the theft of a motor vehicle from a car dealership in the West end.

During the afternoon of June 16th, 2021, two individuals entered a dealership requesting a test drive. They both left the dealership, and the vehicle was never returned. Investigators have deemed that the driver’s licence that was produced was fraudulent.

Suspect two is described as a Black man, approximately 20-25 years old, between 5’11” (180cm) and 6’1” (185cm), with short dreadlocks, and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, carrying a black backpack, and a black face mask (see photo).

The stolen vehicle is a silver 2016 4-door Honda Civic, with a “Honda Magog” sticker on the trunk. The licence plate attached to the vehicle at the time was an Ontario Dealer plate “198 DSD” (see photo).
