Missing 29 year old autistic woman has been located safe

Missing 29 year old autistic woman to locate

(Ottawa)– The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 29 year old Maryan Abdi of Ottawa. She was last seen this early afternoon in the area of Longfield Drive and Beatrice Drive in Barrhaven. Her family is concerned for her safety. 

Maryan is described as a Black woman, 5’6” (168cm) medium build. She is deaf and autistic. She is known to use OC Transpo.  (see photo) 

Anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Maryan is asked to call the Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222. 

If you have information that could assist investigators, but do not know where she is currently, please contact the Missing Persons Unit 613-236-1222, ext. 2355, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, daily.
