Suspect to identify in Tunney’s Pasture Assault

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, March 4, 2022 10 am 

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who was involved in an assault on January 29th, 2022 at Tunney’s Pasture Station.

At approximately 2:30 pm, a woman approached the victim, and started arguing with her. The victim tried walking away, but the suspect followed her. The suspect pulled down her mask and tried coughing on her. The victim pushed the woman away before being punched in the face. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman, 20 to 30 years of old, 5’4” – 5’6” (163-168cm) and approximately 160-180 lbs (73-82 lbs). She was wearing a black tuque, dark winter coat with a white hoodie underneath, black pants, black shoes, and a white mask (see photos).
