(Ottawa)— In April, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit charged a 54 year old man from Ottawa following an investigation into an incident on April 2nd where a male exposed himself to two people under age of 18 years.

At the time of the incident, two young women were approached by a male in the Billings Bridge Plaza parking lot where he exposed himself to them and performed a sexual act before fleeing the area. He was driving a new large silver SUV. Mall security were notified immediately, and police were called.

The SACA investigation is continuing as police believe there have been other such incidents in the area since the beginning of March 2021.

The Ottawa Police will not be identifying the charged man, at this time; however, we are releasing a description to assist other victims: Caucasian male in his 50s approximately 6’ (183cm) tall with an average build and grey hair.
