Lexus theft foiled by Frontline patrol officers

(Ottawa) — Frontline Patrol Officers responded to a possible vehicle theft in progress in the 900 block of Rossburn Crescent overnight. 

At approximately 2:50 am, a witness observed a person trying to break into a neighbour’s car, as well as a suspicious vehicle waiting nearby. 

Responding officers located the suspicious vehicle and arrested three suspects. 

The West Criminal Investigations Unit charged Dimitri FLEURINORD, 22 years old, of Saint-Leonard, Willy-Alexandre NKUFULU, 25 years old, of Repentigny and a 15 year old boy of Montreal with: 

  • Attempt to Commit an Offence
  • Possession of Break-in Instruments
  • Trespassing at Night
  • Mischief under $5000
  • Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence 

FLEURINORD is also charged with Failure to comply with a Release Order. 

They were released by Undertaking with a condition to appear in court at a later date.
