Seeking to identify suspect from Montreal Road stabbing

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, February 16, 2016    1:15pm 

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing investigation. 

On February 7, 2016, at approximately 10:00pm, the male suspect attended the back of a building on the 200 block of Montreal Road with a male victim. A struggle ensued where the male suspect stabbed the victim. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at hospital, and later released from hospital. 

The male suspect is described as a Caucasian male with facial hair. He was wearing orange or red shoes and a red baseball hat (see picture).
