Chief Administrative Officer

Jeff Letourneau is a strategic and innovative corporate executive with over 20 years experience successfully leading business, administrative and corporate support functions in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.  Jeff joined the Ottawa Police Service in 2016 as the services’ first Chief Financial Officer where he led the annual budget development process and successfully implemented a digital transformation in the finance and payroll sections.  Since March 2019, Jeff has served as the Acting Director General, overseeing all business and corporate support functions within the service. 

Prior to joining the OPS, Jeff served as the CFO and VP Corporate Services with the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) where he supported the clinical integration of medical laboratories for the 16 acute care hospitals across Eastern Ontario.   Jeff began his career with Bell Canada and held progressively senior financial management roles.

Jeff was recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40” award winner by the Ottawa Business Journal in 2012.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Dalhousie University, is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
