Help identify a person of interest in Cantin Street fire
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, March 12, 2025 8:28 a.m.
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is asking for help to identify a person of interest in relation to a suspicious fire.
On December 7, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., the Ottawa Police were called as part of a tiered response with Ottawa Fire Services to a residential fire in the 200 block of Cantin Street.
We are asking for public assistance to identify this person of interest who was seen near the location of the fire. They are described as a White man, wearing a red sweater and a black jacket with yellow trim and the hood up. They were wearing black pants and black shoes.
This person may have witnessed the incident or have helpful information for police.
