Incident on Old Richmond Road, police continue to seek witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service is updating that the cyclist has succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who saw a cyclist in the area of Old Richmond Road near Hope Side Road on Thursday September 26^th, between 4:45 pm and 5:15 pm, and may have dash or door cam footage and has not yet spoken to police. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.

Incident on Old Richmond Road, police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service is seeking witnesses after a cyclist, a man in his 50s, was found in serious condition under unknown circumstances.

Police were called to the area of Old Richmond Road near Hope Side Road on Thursday, September 26, around 5:15 pm.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who saw a cyclist in the area between 4:45 pm and 5:15 pm, and may have dash or door cam footage and has not yet spoken to police.
