Suspect to identify in a Sexual Assault in South Keys area

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  Wednesday, November 15, 2023   4:10 pm

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service East District Investigation Unit is looking for public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault that occurred on September 25th inside a commercial business in the 1000 block of Daze Street.

At approximately 6:35 pm the suspect male approached the female victim inside the business, as he walked past, he grabbed her buttocks. He then left the store on foot eastbound on Daze Street.

The suspect is described as an Asian or Indigenous male, 30-40 years old, medium build, 5’7” (170 cm), with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue Atlanta Braves jersey and baseball cap, black sweatpants, red running shoes and was carrying a red back pack.
