Suspect to identify in commercial break and enter on Carline Avenue

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, January 28, 2025    1:00 pm

(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a break and enter to a commercial building in the 1400 block of Carling Avenue on January 20th.

In the early morning hours, the lone suspect broke into the store and began filling bags with products. He then left the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a male. At the time of the incident, he is seen wearing a black jacket with a grey and black hoodie underneath. He was also seen using large red and blue reusable bags.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or who knows the identity of this individual is asked to call the Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 4533 or email at [email protected].

Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or at crimestoppers.ca.
