Suspect to identify in Barrhaven Sexual Assault

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit is looking to identify a suspect involved in a sexual assault on November 23, 2021.

That morning, a black Mercedes sedan (model CLA 250) with two men inside picked up a girl (under the age of 16) on Greenbank Road. They drove to a secluded area and the two men sexually assaulted the victim.

The suspect to identify is described as a black man and is believed to be the owner of the vehicle used during the offence. At the time of the incident, he wore a grey sweater with a hood, a dark-colored jacket, and blue jeans.

The other man has been identified.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section at 613-236-1222 ext. 5944.
