The Ottawa Police Service offers rewards of up to $75,000 CAD for information on unsolved files which lead to an arrest(s) and prosecution(s).

Anyone with information in any of these cases or for more information about the Rewards Policy, please call the Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5493. Anonymous tips can also be left via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestoppers.ca.

Michael Morlang

Ottawa Police is offering a $25,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible in the fatal hit and run of Michael Morlang, 30, on August 11, 2013, around 5 a.m. on Frank Kenny Road, in Ottawa. Investigators are asking for anyone with information to come forward.

Ottawa Police is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information confirming the current whereabouts of Justin Rutter or leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for his disappearance. Justin was last seen by his family in Ottawa on Thursday, October 8, 2009. He was 14 years old at the time.


Yusuf Ibrahim

On February 6, 2015, Yusuf Ibrahim, 27, was shot in a residence in the 100 block of Forestglade Crescent in Ottawa. The suspects were seen fleeing the crime scene in a black Dodge Charger. Ottawa Police is offering a reward up to $50,000 for new information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Yusuf Ibrahim.

Ottawa Police is offering a $50,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Malik Adjokatcher. Late evening of Tuesday, May 14 2013, Malik “Shylock” was shot outside 119 Ritchie Street in Ottawa. Malik ran from his attacker to a nearby house but he later died of his injuries.
