(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is advising that Joshua BRENNAN was arrested in Ottawa.

 He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.

Suspect to locate in stabbing homicide on Saratoga Place

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is looking for public assistance to locate the suspect of the stabbing homicide in the 2700 block of Saratoga Place.

A Canada-wide warrant has been obtained for Joshua BRENNAN, 37 years old, of Ottawa for 2nd Degree Murder and Attempted Murder. 

He is described as a light-skinned Black man, 6’ (183cm), medium build, with brown hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket, a blue shirt and black jeans (see photo).

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5493.

Victim of stabbing homicide on Saratoga Place identified

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating a stabbing homicide that occurred in the 2700 block of Saratoga Place at approximately 1:30am involving two victims.

James Samson, 45 years old succumbed to his injuries. A woman in her 50s, who was also injured, remains in hospital in stable condition.

No suspect has been arrested at this time.
