The Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit (SACA) arrested and charged Mohamed LAAROUS, an Ottawa resident, with sexual offences following an investigation on July 25th, 2026. Investigators believe there could be other victims in and around the Ottawa area. LAAROUS was a rideshare driver for Uber and Lyft so police are releasing a photo of the accused.
