This includes information related to use of force, officer‑involved incidents, crime statistics, operational and governance policies, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and professional standards. It also outlines how the public can raise concerns, make complaints, or provide feedback about police conduct and service delivery. 

We recognize that transparency also means acknowledging and addressing issues that affect trust in policing. The Ottawa Police Service is committed to examining the impacts of bias and systemic racism, and to responsibly collecting and sharing race‑based and identity‑based data where appropriate. This information helps us better understand disparities in policing outcomes and supports informed decision‑making, policy development, training, and continuous improvement.
