Help identify the suspect in a south-end robbery
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, October 23, 2025 9:50 a.m.
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a Facebook Marketplace robbery that occurred on October 11th in the 100 block of Twyford Street.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., the suspect met with the seller, and when he was handed the item, he ran off. The seller briefly gave chase and was then pushed by the suspect.
Minor physical injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as Black, in his early twenties, with a slim build and short black hair. At the time of the incident, he wore navy pants, a white hoodie, and a black sleeveless vest.
Anyone with information about the identity of this individual, or details related to this incident, is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116.
