Missing 15-year-old to locate

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, June 24, 2026  3:12 p.m.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public’s assistance to locate a missing 15-year-old, Baza Araya.

Baza was last seen in the area of Bank Street and Billings Bridge. She regularly uses OC Transpo. There are concerns about her well-being.

She is described as mixed race, 5’6” tall, with a thin build, dark long hair and multiple ear piercings.

Baza was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit and light-coloured Crocs. She was also carrying a grey Jordan backpack.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911 so she can receive immediate assistance.
