Suspect to identify in Kanata mischief investigation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, August 25,  2026     3:35 p.m.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an ongoing mischief investigation.

On July 26, 2026, at approximately 3:05 a.m., the suspect was involved in an incident in the area of Winchester Drive and Seabrooke Drive. After being confronted, the suspect fled on foot and was last seen running south on Rickey Place from Winchester Drive.

The suspect is described as:

•              White man

•              Wearing a silver jacket with the hood up

•              Blue pants

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity, the incident, or video footage from the area at the time is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigations Section at 613-236-1222, extension 2666.
