I was born in Brasilia, Brazil. I am also a proud Canadian citizen.
I grew up speaking both English and Portuguese. I would say both are my first languages.
Before settling in Ottawa with my wife and son, I lived in Brasilia and Sao Paulo, Brazil, Nova Scotia, Barrie, and Toronto.
Before starting my career with the Ottawa Police, I worked in the security and surveillance fields. Most recently, I was part of the Surveillance Detection Unit for the US Embassy.
I’ve always admired police officers and respected what they do. I acknowledge their daily sacrifices to protect and serve our community.
