Recruit Spotlight: Patrick Nolet

I'm originally from a small town in northern Ontario.  

I moved to Ottawa to pursue post-secondary education in French and fell in love with the city.

While in college, I learned a lot about the Ottawa Police and felt as though I could make a difference in my community as a police officer.  

To prepare myself for this career, I continued my studies in Vancouver and Australia before returning to Ottawa. For nearly four years, I worked in a homeless shelter and volunteered with at-risk youth coaching sports. 

My studies and work experience have reinforced my commitment to making a difference in my community while helping those in need.
