Recruit Spotlight: Special Constable Marie-Claire Jackson

Born and raised in Ottawa, I am proud to be a Franco-Ontarian.

Throughout my career, I have worked in several OPS units, including Police Communications (911 Dispatch), Front Desk Services, and Investigative Support within the Missing Persons and Intimate Partner Violence Units.

In addition to my work with OPS, I volunteered with the Distress Centre of Ottawa and Region during the COVID-19 pandemic. I chose a career in policing because I believe in giving back to the community that shaped me, being a steady and compassionate presence for victims, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
