Recruit Spotlight: Special Constable Michel Belledent

I have lived and worked in Alberta and Australia before settling in Ottawa, and I have spent the past 15 years working in the social services field.

Prior to joining the Ottawa Police Service, I worked closely with Ottawa’s Indigenous population involved in the criminal justice system. I chose this career because helping people is at the core of my skill set, and I wanted to continue that work on a larger scale.
