Woman succumbs to injuries suffered in fatal collision; investigation continues
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, May 19, 2026 12:30 p.m.
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service continues to investigate the serious collision that occurred on Fallowfield Road on May 11, 2026.
Sadly, the victim involved in the collision has succumbed to their injuries.
Investigators continue to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage from the area to contact the Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
The investigation remains ongoing.

Seeking witnesses to a serious collision on Fallowfield Road
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking witnesses to a collision resulting in life-threatening injuries that occurred on Monday, May 11, 2026.
At approximately 7:19 pm, officers were called to Fallowfield Road and Via Park Place (OC Transpo Park and Ride) in response to a collision involving one vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian is a 29-year-old woman who remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and has not yet spoken with police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPS Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222 extension 2345.
