Seeking witnesses to serious motor vehicle collision on Old Carp Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, June 26, 2026  1:35 p.m.

(Ottawa) – Ottawa Police are seeking witnesses following a serious single motor vehicle collision that occurred in the 1400 block of Old Carp Road on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

At approximately 9:36 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision near the 1400 block of Old Carp Road. The three occupants of the vehicle were injured and transported to hospital for treatment. The 17-year-old driver sustained life-threatening injuries. One occupant suffered minor injuries and was later released from hospital, while the other sustained serious injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the collision, or who may have dash cam footage or cameras on their property or home that may have captured the vehicle at or around the time of the incident, to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
