Youth charged in Woodroffe Avenue stabbing

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service has charged a youth in relation to a stabbing that occurred in the 1300 block of Woodroffe Avenue on February 10.
The youth was charged with assault with a weapon, failing to comply with an order (two counts), assault causing bodily harm, and possessing a weapon.

Seeking witnesses to Woodroffe Avenue stabbing
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking witnesses to a stabbing that occurred in the 1300 block of Woodroffe Avenue on February 10.
At approximately 5:15 p.m., OPS responded to reports of a man who had been stabbed. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
The victim was transported to hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
The West Criminal Investigations Section is continuing to investigate.
