Fatal Collision on Colonel By Drive; Seeking Witnesses

 

(Ottawa)--The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a collision that occurred on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:35 a.m. on Colonel By Drive south of Rideau Street.

The single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle resulted in the fatality of a 33-year-old male.

Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
