Cadet Corps

The Cadet Corps program is for youth ages 14-18 and creates a unique and meaningful experience for youth considering a career in policing.

It's a great way to learn about the role of the police within the community and within the criminal justice system.

Team building, leadership development and volunteering are important aspects of this program.

Looking for a cool experience while also getting your high school volunteer hours?

The next Cadet Corps Info Session will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21st, in the Chambers Room (west side of the building) of Ben Franklin Place (101 Centrepointe Drive, Nepean).

Cadets will have the chance to help with Ottawa Police events and crime prevention initiatives, give tours of our 474 Elgin Street police station, and be part of a dynamic and energetic group of youth. All while learning about what it takes to work in policing.

In return, the Cadets help us better understand the needs and views of youth in our community.
