Child Print

The Child Print Program gives families practical information in case their child is lost or goes missing.

Education is the first step to safety.

What can you do?

Parents/guardians are encouraged to keep an up-to-date record of each child that includes fingerprints, a recent photograph and descriptive details. Also include the names and phone numbers of the family doctor, dentist and friends.

The program is often available at community events across the city and is a great way for children to make positive contact with police and learn valuable prevention and street-proofing tips.

Visit a Community Police Centre to get a copy of the Child Print booklet.

Keep the complete Child Print booklet and fingerprints in a safe place for your own records.
