Body located in water near Brittania Beach
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, September 9, 2026 1:55 a.m.
(Ottawa) — Yesterday evening, at approximately 7:54 p.m., officers were called to the area for a male that had entered the water and had not resurfaced.
Emergency responders immediately began searching the area, including the water where he had last been seen.
Later during the evening, our Marine, Dive, and Trails Unit located the 25-year-old male, deceased.
There is no foul play or suspicious circumstances suspected.
