Delivery driver dragged during carjacking; seeking suspect

Ottawa — The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in a carjacking that left a delivery driver with minor injuries in Vanier.
On July 18, 2026, a delivery driver was making deliveries in the Vanier area when an unknown man entered the delivery vehicle and stole it.
During the carjacking, the delivery driver was dragged a short distance by the vehicle and sustained minor injuries.
Investigators are looking to identify the man involved and are asking anyone with information to contact the Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116, or email robbery@ottawapolice.ca.
