Ottawa Police Gala Raises $100,000 for Community Organizations

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, February March 6, 2026 2:30 p.m.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is pleased to announce that the 2025 Ottawa Police Gala raised $100,000 in support of local organizations, marking one of the most successful fundraising years in the event’s history.

During a cheque presentation ceremony held at Ottawa Police Headquarters, Chief Eric Stubbs presented $45,000 donations to both the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre and the Capital Prosperity Foundation. An additional $10,000 was presented to the Beechwood Cemetery. These funds will support programs and initiatives that strengthen youth services, assist families, and preserve important community spaces across Ottawa.

The Ottawa Police Service extends its sincere thanks to the sponsors, donors, and community partners whose generosity made this year’s gala a success. Their continued support plays a vital role in helping local organizations deliver meaningful impact across our city.

Applications are now open for organizations seeking to be selected as 2026 Ottawa Police Gala beneficiaries. Eligible organizations are invited to apply until April 3, 2026. The Gala will take place on November 7, 2026, at the Rogers Centre Ottawa.
