Police seek suspect following indecent acts in Heron Park area

Ottawa — The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man in connection with two indecent acts in the Heron Park area.
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, at approximately 2 p.m., a woman was walking along a pathway in Heron Park, near the 1500 block of Clover Street, when a man followed her along the trail. When she stopped and looked back, the man exposed himself and began masturbating.
A second incident was reported on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at approximately 10:26 p.m., near Bank Street and Heron Road. A man matching the same description was observed masturbating while looking into the window of a residence. Officers attended but did not locate him.
The suspect is described as a Black man in his mid-20s, tall, and wearing black jogging pants and a grey hooded sweatshirt. He was carrying a black pouch.
Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the area to review any available surveillance, doorbell-camera or dashcam footage from the dates and times of the incidents.
