Public assistance requested in aggravated assault investigation

Suspect to identify
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, April 10, 2026 10:55 a.m.

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved an aggravated assault that occurred last year in the 400 block of Hazeldean Road.

On March 19, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers located a victim with serious injuries.

The suspect is described as a White man with a large build. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing dark Puma jogging pants, a dark jacket with a white stripe and a white baseball cap.

While investigators have pursued several investigative avenues since March 2025, they are now seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the individual.

The investigation remains ongoing.
