Seeking Witnesses to ATV Collision on Dunrobin Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, April 9, 2026 7:44 a.m.

(Ottawa) — Ottawa Police are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision that occurred on the 1700 block of Dunrobin Road on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

At approximately 5:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single all‑terrain vehicle (ATV) collision on a private property in the 1700 block of Dunrobin Road. The driver, a 49‑year‑old man, was located at the scene with serious injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the collision, or who may have cameras on their properties or homes that may have captured the vehicle at or around the time of the incident, to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613‑236‑1222, extension 2345.
