Sexual assault investigation in Orléans; seeking to identify suspect
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, September 16, 2026 11:10 a.m.
Ottawa — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a sexual assault that is alleged to have occurred near the intersection of Brian Coburn Blvd and Provence Avenue at approximately 9 p.m. on Sunday, September 13.
A woman was jogging in the area when a man rode by her on an electric scooter and slapped her buttocks.
The suspect is described as a White man in his twenties, dressed in all black with his hood up.
If anyone has information about this suspect or has surveillance or dash cam footage from the area during the time of the incident, please contact the East Criminal Investigations Section at 613-236-1222, extension 3566.
