Suspect identified in Elgin Street Break and Enter

Suspect to identify in Elgin Street Break and Enter
(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a Break and Enter investigation.
In the early morning hours of February 19th, the suspect entered a restaurant located in the 300 block of Elgin Street. The suspect proceeded to steal personal items from the kitchen and staff room before leaving.
The suspect is described as White, approximately 25 to 35-years-old. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a black baseball cap, a dark jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes. He was also seen wearing a winter coat he stole from the staff room.
The West Break and Enter Unit is investigating. If anyone has information that could assist the investigation or identify the suspect, please contact the OPS Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 4533.
