Suspect sought following Carling Avenue retail robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery in the 1300 block of Carling Avenue.
On June 7, 2026, at approximately 11:11 a.m., the suspect entered a retail business, selected numerous items, and concealed them in a reusable bag.
When staff approached the suspect to intervene, he pulled out a weapon and threatened them with it.
The suspect is described as a man approximately 30 years old, with dirty reddish-brown hair and a beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing prescription glasses and a dark-coloured jacket.
There were no injuries reported, and the suspect fled the area on foot.
