Two charged following stabbing incident in Cumberland

Ottawa — The Ottawa Police has charged two individuals from Ottawa following a stabbing incident that occurred in Cumberland.
On August 28, 2026, police were called to a disturbance at a residence on Peter Harkness Lane where two people were found to have non-life-threatening injuries as a result of a dispute.
Jazmine Justin Gauthier, 45, has been charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possession of a Weapon
- Carry Concealed Weapon
Grace Croft, 22, has been charged with:
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm
- Assault x2
