Witnesses sought following suspicious vehicle sighting in Stittsville

 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, September 22, 2026     1:25 p.m.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspicious vehicle that was in the Westwood development area of Stittsville.

On September 20, 2026, between approximately 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., a white, four-door Honda Civic, believed to be a 2016 to 2021 model, was observed in the area. The vehicle may have had a rear licence plate only.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who was in the area during this timeframe, including dog walkers, and anyone who may have dashcam footage or surveillance footage from properties.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116.
