Charges laid in Baseline Rd drug trafficking investigation

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) has laid drug-related charges after a two-month investigation.
Following a drug trafficking investigation by the OPS Street Crime Unit, a search warrant was executed at a residence and vehicle located in the 900 block of Baseline Road.
The OPS seized various quantities of drugs including cocaine, oxycodone pills, MDMA, and crack cocaine, as well as a significant amount of Canadian currency.
A 59-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were charged with a drug-related charges including trafficking a Schedule I substance and Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
