Missing 14-year-old youth to locate

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, October 8, 2026   4:55 p.m. 

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Ivy Trudel. 

On October 7, 2026, at approximately 7:20 a.m., Ivy was last known to have boarded her school bus. She was later seen by friends at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the bus station located at RioCan Mall in Barrhaven. 

Ivy is described as a White female, approximately 5’11” (180 cm) tall, with a medium build. She has bright pink, shoulder-length hair. 

She was last seen wearing black pants, a black zip-up hoodie with brown fur trim on the hood, brown fur boots, and carrying a black purse. 

There are concerns for her health and safety. 

Anyone with information about Ivy’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, extension 7300.
