Missing 54-year-old man to locate

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, September 2, 2026   4:35 p.m.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 54-year-old Salvatore Irace.

Salvatore was last seen on Monday, August 31, 2026.

He is described as having a medium build and weighing approximately 234 lbs. He has grey hair and a grey beard, tattoos on his left forearm, and the name “MARIE” tattooed on his knuckles.

He is known to use OC Transpo and Uber.

There are concerns for his health and safety.

Anyone with information about Salvatore’s whereabouts or who has seen him is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, extension 7300.
