Missing 79-year-old woman to locate

Ottawa — The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 79-year-old Eveline Provost.
Eveline left a residence on Lebreton Street North at approximately 8:15 a.m. this morning. She has only been in Ottawa for a short time and is unfamiliar with the city.
She is described as approximately 4’10” tall, with a thin build and weighing approximately 125 lbs. She has two distinct freckles under her left eye. She speaks English and French, and may also speak Punjabi.
Eveline was last seen wearing the sweater shown in the photo and possibly black shoes. The colour of her pants is unknown.
There are concerns for Eveline’s well-being. Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911 so police can locate her and ensure she receives immediate assistance.
